Standard travel insurance covers trip cancellation for specific named reasons — illness, injury, a death in the family, severe weather, and similar documented events. What it does not cover is a change of plans, a personal conflict, a work obligation, or simply deciding you no longer want to go.

That is where Cancel Anytime coverage changes everything.

This plan covers your trip cancellation and interruption for 100% of non-refundable costs when a covered reason applies — and reimburses 80% of your prepaid non-refundable costs if you need to cancel for nearly any other unforeseen reason. You can cancel as late as the day of departure.

For travelers who rent cars abroad or want the highest available coverage limits, the Premier Plan is an excellent upgrade. For professionals whose employer could require them to cancel travel at any time, the Classic Plan with Required to Work is specifically designed for you.
